In this beginners’ book binding workshop we will make a junk journal from recycled items. This could be things like magazine pages, patterned paper, music sheets, envelopes, maps, paper bags, greetings cards to name just a few! It can be used like any other journal but is much more visual. Full of pockets, pull outs, and flaps they are often used for keeping a diary full of keepsakes or as an art journal.
Give yourselves a treat, a day of crafting and creating! Create a junk journal from start to finish that is full of character and totally unique. Make a cover, learn how to sew in your pages and decorate with embellishments to make it your own. This is a bookbinding workshop that is full of fun!
